The decisions, responsibilities, and evidence that keep an AI system within acceptable boundaries throughout its lifecycle. It covers who approves changes, which data can enter the system, how incidents are handled, and which metrics indicate drift. Policy without telemetry and an audit trail does not govern runtime behavior.
